Hi, I’m Robert Heynen—a video editor and sound designer with over five years of experience bringing all kinds of stories to life. I’ve worked on music videos, instructional content, documentaries, and short films, handling everything from editing and sound design to full video production. I love finding the right rhythm, mood, and pacing to make each project feel just right. Whether it's cutting in Premiere or mixing in Pro Tools, I’m all about making content that connects.
My Story
I’ve been immersed in music for as long as I can remember—starting piano at age five and spending decades as a musician, songwriter, producer, and performer. Music has always been my foundation, but over the years I’ve expanded into other creative and technical spaces. After years of performing and producing, I returned to college to deepen my skills, earning AA degrees in both Graphic Design and Music Technology. Earlier on, I also completed a BA in Computer Information Systems, which gave me a strong technical foundation that continues to support my work today. Whether I’m composing, editing, designing, or producing, I’m always chasing that spark where creativity and technology meet.
